An assistant that knows your store.

Rex reads your bookings, customers, items and payments, answers in plain words and links every figure to the record it came from. He prepares; you confirm.

What an AI assistant for a rental business does

An AI assistant for a rental business answers questions from the store’s own records instead of from the open internet: what goes out and comes back today, who still owes a balance, where a unit has been, what a booking will cost. The useful ones show where each answer came from, so a figure can be checked in one click.

Rex is the assistant inside the Share Marketplace portal. He reads the same bookings, customers, inventory, scans and payments the portal shows, states every number from a record and links it, and says when he cannot find something rather than guessing. He also prepares work: a reminder email, a payment link, a booking sheet, a change to an item, a scan-in. Each one sits on a card with one button, and nothing happens until a person presses it. Anything that changed the store can be undone from the same card.

Rex knows how each store runs: barcode scanning, showings, closed days, seasonal pricing, taxes, delivery rules and the attributes a store set up. A showing store and an equipment yard get different answers to the same question because their settings differ.

Every figure links to its record

Above each answer is the list of what Rex read; every booking, customer and item he names is one click from its page.

He prepares, you press

A reminder, a pay link, a booking sheet, a scan-in or an inventory change arrives as a card with one button. Confirm to run it; Undo to take it back.

Answers shaped by your settings

Scanning, showings, closed days, seasonal rules, taxes and your own attributes all inform the answer and the cards.

Questions about an assistant that knows your store.

What can I ask?

Anything the portal knows: today’s pickups and returns, late rentals, who owes money, a customer’s history, whether an item is free on a date, what earned the most last month, what was scanned in today, what a booking will cost. Rex answers with the records he read listed above the answer.

Does it make things up?

Every figure in an answer comes from a tool result over the store’s records, and each one links to its record. When the records do not hold the answer, Rex says so and suggests where to look. A nightly check compares his figures with the booking pages they came from.

Can it change my bookings or inventory?

Only through a card you confirm. Rex can lay out a new booking, scan units in or out, add or change an item, add a cleaning fee or send an invoice, but each is prepared as a card with one button and nothing runs until you press it. Changes to the store can be undone from the card afterwards.

Who can use it?

Store admins, in the Ask tab and in the rail beside every portal page. Each person sees only what their portal permissions allow.

Is my data used to train AI models?

No. Rex sends the records needed for an answer to our AI provider, which does not use them to train its models. The details are in the data protection addendum.

What does Rex cost?

Rex is an add-on to a Share Marketplace plan: $29.99 a month per store, for store admins, with a monthly usage allowance. Current plans and what each includes are on the pricing page.
