Rex lays out the booking on a sheet: customer, times, items, free units, the price your store would charge. Change anything on it, or tell him; press Confirm when it is right.
You describe the booking in a sentence: who, when, what. Rex finds the customer (or adds a new one from a name and an email), reads the catalogue for those dates, picks free units and lays it all out on a booking sheet in the answer. The sheet prices the booking exactly as Add Booking would, with the store’s rates, billing mode, showing fees, closed days, taxes and any coupon the customer qualifies for.
Every field on the sheet can be changed by hand, and a sentence to Rex (“make it Saturday”, “add two more chairs”, “10% off”) makes a new sheet. Confirm creates the booking through the same route the Add Booking page uses; the card then links to it and offers Undo, which cancels and archives it. You can also open the sheet in Add Booking to finish by hand, or save it as a draft for the team.
Customer, pickup and return, each item with its free units and price, taxes, discount or a final price, the job title and notes.
Rates, billing mode, showing fees, closed days, seasonal rules, taxes and coupons: the sheet runs the same pricing the booking page runs.
Confirm books it. Open in Add Booking hands it to the full page. Save as draft puts it in the team’s Booking drafts.
No. The sheet prices the booking with the same code the Add Booking page uses, from the store’s rates and settings. Rex never estimates a price in words; the sheet shows it.
The sheet shows how many units are free for the dates and how many are short. You can lower the quantity, move the dates, set the booking to pending, or let it go on as a placeholder if the store allows oversell.
Yes, on the sheet or in words. Nothing is booked until you press Confirm, and a confirmed booking can be undone from the card.
When you confirm, the store’s normal confirmation email goes out, the same as a booking made on the Add Booking page. If you undo, the cancellation email goes out too. The card says so before you press.
Rex is an add-on to a Share Marketplace plan: $29.99 a month per store, for store admins, with a monthly usage allowance. Current plans and what each includes are on the pricing page.
