Rental software built for the water.

Online booking, e-signed agreements, safety checklists, and captained trips — all in one place.

What boat rental software does

Boat rental software runs the whole rental from the customer’s first click to the moment the boat is back at the dock: online booking against each boat’s real availability, the rental agreement and liability waiver signed before departure, the deposit collected up front, and the day’s departures on one screen for the crew.

Share Marketplace was built with marinas, jet ski and pontoon operators, and captained charter companies. Every adult on the booking signs their own agreement and waiver from a link sent by text or email, walk-ups sign at the dock on a phone, and Transport Canada safety checklists are completed and stored with the booking.

Pricing is per hour, per day or per multi-day trip, captained or bareboat, with refundable deposits or pre-authorization holds that you capture or release in one tap. Bookings flow into QuickBooks and the calendar stays in sync with your website, your marketplace listing and the counter.

Agreements & waivers done before launch

Every adult signs a DocuSign-style rental agreement and liability waiver — captured digitally, stored automatically.

Bookings without the double-up

Per-boat availability, captained or bareboat, with deposits collected up front so the slip is always earning.

Run the fleet from your phone

Check parties in, manage the day’s departures, and see every signed document from one screen.

Questions about rental software built for the water.

What is boat rental software?

Boat rental software is a booking and operations system for businesses that rent boats, jet skis, pontoons or kayaks. It shows customers real-time availability per boat, takes the booking and deposit online, collects the signed rental agreement and waiver before departure, and gives the crew a departures board and check-in on the dock.

Can customers sign the rental agreement and waiver before they arrive?

Yes. Every adult on the booking gets a link by text or email to sign their own rental agreement and liability waiver, and walk-up customers sign on a phone at the dock. The signed documents are stored with the booking and can be reviewed from the portal at any time.

How are damage deposits handled?

You choose per listing: a refundable deposit charged at checkout, or a pre-authorization hold on the customer’s card that you capture or release when the boat comes back. Both run on Stripe or Square, and the customer sees exactly what was held and when it was released.

Does it work for captained trips and hourly rentals?

Yes. Each boat carries its own hourly, daily and multi-day rates, can be offered captained or bareboat, and has its own availability calendar with buffer time between trips. Captained trips can carry per-person pricing and add-ons such as fuel, tubes or a cooler.

Can I take bookings on my own website?

Yes. Embed the booking flow on your existing website with a script or iframe, or use your Share Marketplace storefront. Both read the same availability, so a booking from your site, from the marketplace and from the counter can never collide.

What does boat rental software cost?

Share Marketplace is priced per transaction, from 1% to 3% depending on the plan, rather than a large monthly licence. Current plans and what each one includes are on the pricing page.
