Rental software that works as hard as you do.

From skid steers to scaffolding, run your whole equipment yard online — bookings, deposits, and serialized tracking in one place.

What equipment rental software does

Equipment rental software tracks every machine and tool to the serial number, takes reservations against real availability, collects deposits and damage waivers, and keeps the counter, the yard and your website working from the same stock count.

Share Marketplace handles skid steers, compactors, scaffolding and hand tools alike: per-serial or bulk-quantity tracking, maintenance and service holds that pull a unit out of the calendar, daily, weekly and monthly rate tiers, and delivery scheduling with drivers and routes when the gear ships to site.

Deposits and pre-authorization holds protect high-value units, overdue returns are flagged automatically, and every booking, payment and refund syncs to QuickBooks so month-end takes minutes instead of days.

Every unit, tracked to the serial

Know exactly where each machine is, what it’s rented for, and when it’s due back — across every yard you run.

Protect high-value gear

Collect refundable deposits and place pre-authorization holds, then capture or release in one click if something comes back damaged.

Quote and reserve on the spot

Real-time availability means counter staff and online customers see the same truth — so the gear is never double-booked.

Questions about rental software that works as hard as you do.

What is equipment rental software?

Equipment rental software is an inventory, booking and payments system for businesses that rent machinery and tools. It tracks each unit by serial number, shows customers and counter staff the same real-time availability, collects deposits and waivers, and reports utilization and revenue per unit.

Can it track individual serial numbers and bulk quantities?

Yes. A listing can be one serialized machine, a fleet of serialized units, or a bulk quantity such as 200 scaffold frames. Serialized units carry their own maintenance history and can be scanned out and in with a barcode; bulk items track quantity per booking.

How do maintenance and repairs work?

Put a unit on a maintenance hold with a start and end date and it disappears from the calendar for that window. Service records, costs and notes stay with the unit, and the hold clears automatically when the work is done.

Does it support daily, weekly and monthly rates?

Yes. Each listing carries hourly, daily, weekly and monthly tiers and the checkout always picks the cheapest valid combination for the rental length. Seasonal pricing, closed-day billing rules and delivery fees are set per store.

Can I collect a damage deposit or hold?

Yes. Charge a refundable deposit at checkout or place a pre-authorization hold on the card and capture or release it on return. Built-in damage waivers can be offered as an add-on at checkout.

What does equipment rental software cost?

Share Marketplace is priced per transaction, from 1% to 3% depending on the plan, rather than a large monthly licence. Current plans and what each one includes are on the pricing page.
